Jim Henson’s Fantastic World

Christmas Around the World – Holidays of Light 2010

Christmas Around the World began in 1942 as a United Nations Day salute to American allies during the war, is now in its 69th year. The exhibit features more than 50 dazzling trees and displays that are decorated by members of Chicago’s ethnic communities to reflect holiday customs from around the world. Holidays of Light showcases various global holidays that celebrate light or enlightenment such as Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Diwali. Northwestern Wildcats versus Illinois at Wrigley Field
